About the Doula Network
of the Capital Region

The Doula Network of the Capital Region is a community of independent birth professionals who provide birthing families with emotional, physical and informational support throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum. All Doula Network doulas have gone through training and adhere to a comprehensive standard of care, offering experienced, compassionate support to our clients. We provide individualized guidance in navigating options so you can make the best decisions for your growing family.

Birth Doulas

Birth Doulas are labor support experts who attend to the emotional and physical comfort needs of birthing people and their partners throughout the childbirth experience.

Postpartum Doulas

Postpartum Doulas are adept in providing families with essential individualized support in the early weeks of parenthood, helping ease the transition to life with a newborn. They can assist with breast/bodyfeeding, family adjustment and household management.

Standards of Care

All doulas listed on this site have agreed to these minimum standards of care.  Please contact each doula individually to learn about their specific fees and services.
